We're proud to be a local Tucson business, serving the Southwest since the 1980s. Our passion and specialty lie in dealing high-quality, artisan-made rugs, masterfully woven pieces that are more than just decor; they are works of art.

Our collection includes traditional Zapotec rugs from the village of Teotitlán del Valle, where every step, from raising the sheep and shearing the wool to hand-dyeing and weaving, is done by Zapotec families using time-honored techniques. These rugs reflect generations of cultural artistry and craftsmanship.

We also carry handwoven contemporary and Southwestern-style wool rugs, produced by skilled adult weavers in India. The wool weft is hand-dyed and hand-spun, woven onto a 100% cotton warp for structure. Everything you touch is pure wool. These rugs are not mass-produced but created in small batches, designed both in Tucson and abroad, ensuring every piece is unique and built to last for generations.

In addition to rugs, we offer high-quality home decor including Ken Edwards stoneware pottery, which we've carried since 1993, and a curated collection of authentic Native American sterling silver jewelry, longtime customer favorites.

Today, we operate eight stores across Arizona and New Mexico. In Tucson, visit us at Del Sol, Sacred Threads Boutique, and Off Fourth Outlet in the Fourth Avenue Shopping District, or at La Zia Native Arts in the Old Town Artisans complex downtown. We still operate our original two-building store in Tularosa, NM, and we also welcome visitors to our three vibrant locations in Old Mesilla, NM, each one offering distinctive selections of jewelry, rugs, arts, clothing, and fine Mexican crafts.
